SUMMARY:PV - Saturday Ride
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\nNote the start for the October 31 ride is in Forest G
rove. Please see the Parking info below.\n\n\n\nOn October 31\, 2026\, the
Portland Velo Saturday ride will start from Roger's Park in Forest Grove.
\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn an effort to be good neighbors in the community please
do not fill the Roger's Park parking lot. Leave it for the tennis players.
Mt. Olive Lutheran Church at 2327 17th Ave\, Forest Grove has agreed to a
llow us to use part of their parking lot. We also have been asked NOT to
use the St. Vincent De Paul parking lot directly across 17th Ave from Roge
r's Park. \n\n\n\nRead the Club’s liability waiver and understand that y
our participation in a ride constitutes acceptance of the waiver. The waiv
er is found here.\n\n\n\nBefore you join ANY PV ride\, read this page whi
ch spells out what is expected from you.\n\n\n\nYou are also expected to a
bide by the Portland Velo&nbsp\;Code of Conduct\n\n\n\nIf you are not a Po
rtland Velo member and want to join us for a ride\, use the Contact page t
o request links and maps sent via email.\n\n\n\nLinks to the routes and ma
ps: (you must be logged in and have active membership to see this next sec
 tion)\n\n\n\n[pms-restrict subscription_plans="202"]\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMain
  route Map/Cue sheet\n\n\n\nShort route Map/Cue sheet\n\n\n\nNote that not
all speed groups may have ride leaders for all routes.\n\n\n\nPlease be s
ure to download the appropriate GPS file to your computer. That rider off
the front of the group may not know where they are going. Follow the link
to the RwGPS site and download the GPS file appropriate for your computer
from there. And print the map/cue sheet. Let's try to avoid the collapse i
nto one large group because only 1-2 people have the route. Protect yourse
lf. See the cue sheet for caution areas.\n\n\n\nRoute names are often reus
ed with minor changes to the route. Do not assume an old map or GPS file r
eflects the current route.\n\n\n\nAlso note you can download the free RwGP
S app to your smart phone\, access the route through it and follow the rou
te on your cell phone. See details under "RwGPS app usage".\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\
